Terms & Conditions and Rules & Regulations for Buyers (Learners/Students)
Michael Makhal Symphony Orchestra (MMSO) is a service provider, about to launch a platform, that will be providing music lessons though an exclusive line up of teachers who are chosen by us based on the musical merit/qualification. We are bringing the much needed music learning opportunity right at the house of the learners, through live online music lesson platform. The date of the launch has not been decided yet.
- It is possible that, the teacher and the student may miss the lesson due to unforeseen issue; in that case, we will communicate with the student and the teacher and try to find out slot for the makeup lessons. Or we will allot another teacher for the same slot if the regular teacher is not available. All our teachers are trained to teach at any level, so taking lessons from multiple teachers would be fine.
- If the student/buyer/learner has proper broadband connection for good internet speed during the lessons, should go for our service. Online lessons are difficult with slow internet speed.
- If the student/buyer/learner is comfortable and experienced online video chat platforms, namely, Skype, Amazon Chile, Microsoft Teams, Slack and Zoom etc. then only they should go for our service. We may go for some other mediums if there is a better option as per our understanding. Students should be flexible in switching online video chat mediums.
- MMSO will not be responsible for slow internet or technical issues from broadband/internet services from student and teacher end, it is well known that, internet speed drops without a notice and anyone can be a victim that, we can not be held responsible for that, neither we can refund for such issues.
- MMSO will not be responsible for technical issues with the respective video chat medium, screen sharing platform, it is well known that, technical errors as usual in any online medium and they occur without a notice and anyone can be a victim that, we can not be held responsible for that, neither we can refund for such issues.
- If a student miss the lesson and don’t inform us at least 24 hours before the lesson time, the fees for that lesson will be not be adjusted or refunded. But, if they inform us prior to 24 hours, we will adjusted with another slot as per the choice and convenient of the teacher. However, it is requested to inform us about missing a lesson a week before so we can make necessary plans for the students and teachers both.
- If the teacher misses the lesson for illness or any urgent reason, we will try to to reschedule the lesson time by contacting the student. However, if we have any other teacher free in that slot and ready to teach in that slot, we will try to provide a new temporary teacher for that slot so the student doesn’t have to change his/her day’s schedule.
- Initially, a brief bio of the teacher(s) will be shared with the prospective student(s), later, once the student pays the fee and takes the admission, he/she will be introduced to the teacher(s) and the full bio of the teacher(s) will be disclosed to the student(s). However, students are not allowed to contact the teachers personally, its for the good of students and teachers both, everything must be done through us. Students should write to us if there is anything they want to speak about regarding the lessons and we will communicate with the teachers and get back to the student. If any student tries to offer a private job or private lesson to the teachers, the respective student will be terminated from the lessons forever for trying to misuse our service. Our teachers are bound in agreement and any such offer shall be reported to us by them immediately.
- We are facilitating with exclusive music lessons by extremely professional teachers; we judge their music skills, experience and CV in order to give them the job. However, it is impossible for us to know and make certain of the character of any person be it the teacher or any other staff. If the teacher indulges in to illegal/vulgar or similar act, the student can take necessary action on the teacher and he/she will get full cooperation from our side. However, our company will not be responsible for any such action of the teacher (luring, vulgarity, sexual and illegal and similar acts), MMSO will not be put liable for any such activity of the teacher as per this T&C.
Refund
- No refunds will be made unless the teacher missed the slot or we fail to provide the service.
Cancellation
- Cancellations only accepted within 24 hours of paying and booking the service/lesson.
- No cancellation will be accepted after 24 hours of the booking of the service/lesson.
